Financial Assistance Program

PROP provides financial help for rent or mortgage payments, gas and electricity reconnections, medical and dental needs, crisis childcare, and auto-care expenses. Other financial services include youth scholarships and emergency gas or bus cards.Financial assistance is aimed to resolve a short term gap of income or crisis situation and is generally in the form of a no-interest loan with affordable monthly payments. Limited grant funding is also available. Individuals who participate in this program partner with staff to set goals, access resources, and create self-sufficiency plans. Case management participation may be required to receive financial support.

To request help with financial assistance, call PROP and ask to speak to a Client Intake Specialist. A telephone assessment will be completed to determine qualification for any of our services and to schedule an appointment. If you are calling after hours and/or reach a voicemail, a Client Intake Specialist will return your call within one business day.

No walk-in appointments for financial requests.

Below is a Release of Information form that needs to be completed, signed, and returned to PROP in order for PROP Staff to speak to anyone on your behalf.
