New Executive Director

Hello! My name is Anne Harnack and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support the mission of PROP as the new Executive Director! I have met several dedicated board members, volunteers, and staff and I look forward to partnering with all to support the self sufficiency of residents in need throughout Eden Prairie and Chanhassen.

I am very passionate about the safety and health of individuals, families and community! I believe that each person that resides and/or works in Eden Prairie and Chanhassen are important stakeholders in fulfilling the mission of PROP. My past experience working for a non-profit organization has taught me a lot about the value of receiving support and of giving to others. The importance of children getting enough to eat so that they sleep well and be successful in school to the value of a community youth group implementing a food drive to feed their neighbors is what it is all about! This partnership is what creates community and keeps it healthy and safe.

A previous mentor of mine always asked the question, "is it the right thing to do?" She asked this question considering all the stakeholders and the mission in which they valued. My leadership will take on that wisdom when considering decisions that best serve individuals, families and the community! It is also very clear to me that PROP would not be in the position to help others as is it today, without the generosity of volunteers. Volunteers are the core of this organization and create that sense of energy and dedication necessary to move forward, even in difficult times.
