PROP is currently accepting applications for a Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator. Interested applicants can e-mail resumes to anneh@propfood.org or mail to PROP, attention Anne. What is PROP?Since its beginnings in 1971, PROP has been a nonprofit human services agency serving Eden Prairie and Chanhassen families during their emergencies and times of temporary need until they can attain self-sufficiency. While currently serving approximately 1,000 families, PROP relies on generous contributions from local churches, businesses, civic organizations, schools, youth organizations, and individuals. The office and food shelf is staffed by dedicated volunteers. There is no charge for any of the services PROP provides. PROP programs include a food shelf, a PROP Shop, transportation assistance, financial assistance as well as information and referral to other agencies to meet the needs that PROP cannot. PROP's Seasonal Programs include Holiday Food and Gifts, a School Supply Program and a Gardening Program. The mission of PROP is to compassionately provide our neighbors in need with food and financial assistance and to provide support towards self sufficiency. Have questions?
